Nordic Folk is on the rise capturing more attention in the recent decade than ever before. From tales of vikings, battles and culture intertwined, bands like Eihwar are creating mesmerizing songs. Eihwar the pagan duo, toured the United States and enamored fans with their nordic tales. The duo recently showcased their folk anthems at the Bluebird Theater in Denver, Co. and the atmosphere was tantalizing.

Eihwar recently released their alluded album titled, Hugerheim, via Season Of Mist. This is the flag the duo is carrying all across America. The fans poured in from all corners of Colorado, some wearing traditional viking outfits and others showcasing their fresh merchandise. The fans were ready for a pagan spectacle. The set is simple, a drum, acoustic guitar and a synthesizer for atmospheric sounds. However, the powerful voice by Asrunn captivates listeners. Asrunn mesmerizes viewers with her energetic prance. An exciting night filled with great music and tales of nordic origin stole fans hearts and rendered them to dance in a trance. Mark on folk guitar, and war drum added intense percussions preparing any viking for the war cry.

An spiritual ritual pervaded the walls of the Bluebird Theater as Eihwar unleased their war cries, and dance sounds. The energy was contagious and solemn moments created the right atmosphere as Mark played the acoustic guitar and Asrunn joined him to sing an emotional set. From dancing, and singing majestically Asrunn is pure essence live. With a bit of comedy as well Asrunn and Mark executed a whimsical performance. The only things missing during this show was mead, an ax-thrower and flamethrower to give this show a full medieval/folk likeness. The pagan inspired tracks and music transport you to an era of kings and purity. Make sure to catch a show on their next tour and get their latest record Hugerheim out now via Season of Mist.
