The Goodless IV, North America tour brought a packing line up. Metal purveyors like Immolation, Rotting Christ, legendary Deicide and masters of blackened death metal Behemoth raised hell In Denver, Co. A neck crushing performance was delivered by all artists and the fans raged savagely.

April 22nd 2026 was the date when chaos and nostalgia reigned the Filmore Theater in Denver, Co. The opening act for this brutal show was non-other than Immolation, having released their latest opus magnus titled Descent the band was ready for blood. This album follows their 2022 release, Acts of God, off which they played some tracks for the masses. Immolation played a tight rigorous set, the fans moshed and roared along to tracks like “An Act of God” and classic tracks as well. It was a compilation of the last 2 decades. You can see the rage displayed on set by Ross Dolan on vocals as his comrades Robert Vigna and Alex Bouks savagely attack their guitars. Riff after Riff Robert Vigna displayed his unique guitar shredding style, while the cannons were blasted by Steve Shalaty. The veterans have a destructive force on stage and the walls felt the power. Immolation has been delivering iconic death metal since 1988, they continue to destroy stages.

The act that followed was a blistering sound, one hailing from Greece, carrying the black metal flag; Rotting Christ delivered an exuberant performance. The hellenes quartet came with a contagious energy and played some of their classic work along with material from their latest release Pro Xristou via Season of Mist. Tracks like “Like Father Like Son” and classic “Daimonon Vrosis” pervaded the venue. The chemistry on stage is undeniable, from guitar shredding to aggressive double pedals the music comes to life. The essence of Rotting Christ’s music will outlast humanity, their live performances will make your body enter a trance unlike no other. The brother’s, Sakis and Themis Tholis vivacious performance is emulated by Kostis and Kostas. The band’s energy permeated the Filmore as the crowd went wild. There is no doubt that after 35 years this band continues to deliver a grandiose set.

Anti-god themes were highly present during this tour, what other band more sacrilegious than Deicide to scare the Jahova witnesses. Hailing from Tampa Florida, this legendary death metal band raised hell during their set. Frontman and founder Glen Benton carries an IDGAF persona, and gores through songs like “Homage For Satan” and “Once Upon the Cross”. New member Jadran “Conan” Gonzales of Exmortus delivers a neckbreaking performance executing songs he grew up listening to. Behind the drum kit the man himself, Steve Asheim, executed blasts that crumbled the venue to meager debris. Lead guitarist Taylor Nordberg played tantalizing guitar solos and savage riffs. There is no stoping this evil force once they lay upon the infidels their crucifying sound. The energy conveyed during Deicide’s set is pure chaos and a fuck your god attitude, which has been their message since the day of inception. Remember kids hail satan and do not miss Deicide live.

The Polish blackened death metal act, Behemoth finished the night after all the brutality laid down by all other acts they re-energized the crowd. Blood spewed as Nergal, Inferno, Seth and Orion took over the stage. A dark aura enveloped the venue, one so unholy everyone’s sins were washed off. Make it make sense. Nergal took over the stage with his potent voice, which after 7 times witnessing their live performance it still blows me away. Seth crushed the fans with his virulent guitar solos as Orion added depth and energized the fans. Meanwhile, Inferno delivered the nuclear sound of his drums relentless beating for sure. Tracks like “Bartzabel”, “The Shit ov God” and “Ora Pro Nobis Lucifer” amped the crowd and insanity broke loose. The production by this band keeps exploding, and delivering sensational lighting and outfit changes by Nergal. The energy levels pervading the venue are unequivocally rendered by the sounds of “Ov Fire and The Void”. Behemoth continue to mesmerize long time fans and new ones as well. The ritual was completed once “Chant for Eschaton 2000” was performed, or so the fans believed. To their surprised, Behemoth played the grand finale titled track, “O Father O Satan O Sun” off their album The Satanist, via Metal Blade Records 2009. The Godless IV 2026 continues with a few dates remaining, they will close this malignant tour on May 21st, in Los Angeles Ca. make sure to check out the remaining shows.
