They say after a near death experience, the extension of our time on earth is a strong comeback and success is imminent. Mark Whelan, of Fuming Mouth is no exception to this, after being diagnosed with cancer and nearly perishing due to this illness, he came back stronger with his band Fuming Mouth. The band worked hard on the most brutal death metal album they have conjured, titled Last Day of Sun, which will be released on November 3^rd via Nuclear Blast Records. This will be their sophomore record with Nuclear Blast Records, filled with powerful lyrics and heavy death metal.

The record Last Day of Sun by Fuming Mouth is composed of 12 distinctive death metal tracks, with heavy guitar work and angry vocals. Each track delivers a whirl of pain, aggression and transcending death metal. The opening track “Out of Time”, sets an ominous start, slow impeding drums and a chugging guitar riff followed by explosive vocal cords. Fuming Mouth is taking death metal in a brutal direction, with blends of doom, and melodic guitar solos. This track is followed by “Respect and Blasphemy”, aggressive and fast assault to the skull; unapologetic death metal at it’s finest. Think of Obituary, Fuming Mouth, delivers that fast pace brutal death metal without the build up; a cathartic sound. Their single “The Silence Beyond Life”, is a psychological song, perhaps a rendition to the close encounter with death, almost leaving it all behind as a life was slowly shying away. The musicianship of this song is very powerful, it elicits different emotions, those of relief, joy, anger a compelling track indeed. This album has tracks that will make you sing along and make you lose your shit and mosh intensely.

Fuming Mouth are delivering a second album filled with octane metal, powerful vocals and heavy doom drum work. This album sounds personal, with aggression and pure death metal.
