This stuff is deep – think Alien meets Dostoyevsky meets Texas Chain Saw Massacre meets Extermination Dismemberment meets Nietzsche. Yep. This is a thing. One must immerse themselves to believe. Even then, it will require a PHD level thesis in slam to truly comprehend.

Slamophiliac started by Darryn Palmer in late 2013 as a joke band with the intention of making fun of news stories at the time. Palmer; however, got serious about the project when friend and co-writer on the demos Todd Grove started a label under the name of his distribution company, Brutal Gear, and wished to release the first album, entitled Aborted into Absolute Inexistence.Not long after, Palmer and Grove started a second project called Spilling Entrails, which caught the attention of CDN Records. As a result, Slamophiliac would also catch the label’s eye and release a second album titled Slam Obsessed in mid 2014.

Since then Palmer has released many albums through CDN Records, with the exception of some minor releases – such as a split with the band Goremonger, and a full-length titled ‘Slam Overdose’, released by Grove.
