Fleshgod Apocalypse- KING

FA1There have been bands that restlessly aimed for success, by including other elements of the music world; Fleshgod Apocalypse is a master of this art. Fleshgod Apocalypse has done a great job incorporating an orchestra sound with their death metal attitude. In their new album titled- King, their metal sound is heavier than ever, and their symphony influences are more aggressive than before. Songs like “And The Vulture Beholds” start with phenomenal Oprah vocals, which transport you to the Victorian era. An era where lust, vanity and death were abundant, which is what “Cold as Perfection” depicts in their video as well as lyrical creativity. Now, who does not want to die “A Million Deaths” metal heads claim death is the ultimate release but this song is a symphony in their ears. They guitar solos are riveting, as well as compelling- don’t forget the orchestra making those transitions from death metal to melodic death metal adding suspense to each song. Felshgod Apocalypse are masters of their craft, death melodic symphonic metal is their forte and the reality of evil, sadistic humans are ready for it. Can you imagine telling your partner that you have “Syphilis” with the heaviest riffs they are? Well Fleshgod Apocalypse makes that an easy task, just play the self titled song “Syphilis” and make sure to leave a bottle of wine behind so they can engorge in it. Fleshgod Apocalypse are masters of symphony death metal and they will be showcasing their talent this year in America, make sure to see them at The Whiskey A Go Go this month on February 22nd, 2016. Feel the flesh peel off as they orchestrate their deathly sound. Check out their new album, King, out now and let the melody take over.
