
The Halo Effect, a powerhouse of pure melodic death metal has recorded their most ambitious work yet. The album titled March of The Unheard, will be out on January 10, 2025, via Nuclear Blast Records. What started as fun and entertainment for each band member, it soon became an album of the year. This encouraged the band to propel this melodic death metal project to higher altitudes.
The Halo Effect’s title album March of The Unheard is the successor of their first album Days of The Lost. The album kicks off with the titled track “Conspire to Deceive”. It carries on with the Gothenburg melodic death metal sound. The melodic guitar work (Niclas Engelin, Jesper Stromblad) accompanied by stellar drum work (Daniel Svensson) compliments Mikael Stanne’s melancholic vocals. The track Detonate has the maturity and complexity of all artists styles, moving away from prior work with In Flames. The track “Our Channel to The Darkness” continues to energize the album, with Sweden’s explosive metal riffs and ambient synths. The Halo Effect have delivered what is to be 2025 album of the year.

The energy which is delivered in each track of March of The Unheard transcends in a captivating way. The track “What We Become”, has the progressive sounds that metal heads enjoy, combined with heavy melodic riffs.
