Philip H. Anselmo to Fill in For EYEHATEGOD’s Michael D. Williams in two Special dates.


If you like Philip H. Anselmo in Pantera, Scour and Down well how about you go check his take over on two special shows later this August with EYEHATEGOD. Trust us your ears will thank you later. Mike IX Williams, EYEHATEGOD’s lead singer will hand the mike over to Phil due to some recent health issues. This is what Mike IX Williams had to add- “ Due to some recent, very important health issues I am dealing with, I would like to announce that Philip H. Anselmo will be filing in for me at two special EYEHATEGOD gigs; New Orleans’s Southport Music Hall and the seventh annual Gwar BBQ. Phil has my full blessings for these two shows and with all forces willing, I will return to the stage as soon as I am physically able.” Who better than Phil to Fill his shoes in for two killer shows? EYEHATEGOD will take over the nation in October on a ten-date tour, alongside hardcore punk icons Discharge.

Phil was also excited and this is what he had to say, -“When our brothers in one of New Orleans’ most influential music needs me, I am there, one-thousand percent. There is no secret that i adore my brethren in EYEHATEGOD, as I have always supported them through thick and thin.” With out thinking it twice Phil will beside to do a killer job during those two dates. So grab your tickets and make sure to enjoy the vocals of the ANSELMO brutalizing to tunes of EYEHATEGOD. Phil continue to say, – “In Light of Michael D. Williams’ health issues, which he needs to address more importantly than any other point in his like, and should be respected by anyone with a heart, I will do my best to fill in for him. Those are mighty big shoes to fill, but i shall do my best, once again.”

Philip Anselmo has done work with Supert Joint Ritual, Down and Pantera of course, with his newest attempt on brutality with Scour. Scour is a great deadly sound, with Scandinavian black metal roots. Make sure to stay tuned for more on this atrocious act.
